baking cakes, weekend markets and lots of milk with a tiny wee bit of coffee! Oh and some great bands from Berlin! (sorry...four favorite things)

why I'm excited about Our New School

I really like the project set up: Lots of different people working together and discovering opportunities of how to improve the experience of being at school. Before you re-design a school building, I think it's important to look at what goes on in school and to think about what school could - or should - be like for those who study and work in it as well as their families and others who live nearby. And that's exactly what we're trying to do with our co-design team.

why I'm excited about Our New School

I'm looking forward to seeing how the OurNewSchool website will get all kinds of people involved in the creative process which takes into account more opinions, ideas and problems to produce a better solution. I'm also excited about being part of the co-design group, which is made up from teachers, students and designers and will involve workshops, events and prototyping sessions.

why I'm excited about Our New School

I'm really excited about the OurNewSchool project because I really like Walker Technology College. We've been made to feel really welcome. I hope that through the project the co-design team can help to take the school forward. Success for me would be the school taking on some of the other design challenges that we've identified and also continuing to use this website and tools that are developed to do some more co-designing when our project with Walker has come to an end. The exhibition in October should be fun too.
